1. About these terms
These terms apply when a parent or carer uses the My Future Education website, sends a lesson enquiry or purchases/arranges Turkish tuition from My Future Education. If we agree specific written terms for a booking that conflict with these general terms, the specific written terms will apply to that booking.
2. Tuition services
Lessons may be offered online or in person in Leicester and may include beginner, primary, GCSE, A-Level or conversational Turkish support. Lesson content is tailored to the learner, but educational progress depends on many factors and no particular examination grade, result or level of fluency is guaranteed.
The parent or carer is responsible for providing accurate information about the learner's age, level, relevant needs and contact details.
3. Enquiries and bookings
Submitting the website enquiry form does not by itself create a confirmed paid booking. A lesson is confirmed when My Future Education accepts the proposed lesson or package and communicates the agreed date, format, price and any applicable payment arrangements.
Availability shown or discussed before confirmation may change.
4. Prices and payment
Website prices are intended to be clear, but the price that applies is the price confirmed before the relevant paid booking or package is accepted. No additional payment should be taken without the payer's agreement.
If recurring or subscription-style payments are introduced, the renewal frequency, price, cancellation method and any statutory cooling-off rights will be explained before payment is taken.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
Lesson-specific cancellation or rescheduling arrangements will be provided when a booking is confirmed. We encourage parents and carers to give as much notice as possible if a learner cannot attend.
Nothing in these terms removes any statutory consumer right. For eligible distance service contracts, UK consumer law may provide a 14-day cancellation period from entering the contract. If you expressly request that tuition begins during a statutory cancellation period, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for services supplied before cancellation, where the law allows. If the service has been fully performed following the required request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end.
If My Future Education cancels a paid lesson and a suitable replacement cannot be agreed, the amount paid for that undelivered lesson will be refunded or credited, as agreed with the payer.
6. Free trial lessons
A free trial is subject to availability and is intended to help the family and teacher assess the learner's needs and whether the service is a suitable fit. A free trial does not guarantee future availability.
7. Online lessons
For online tuition, the parent or carer is responsible for a suitable device, internet connection and a reasonably quiet, appropriate learning environment. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by the learner's equipment or internet service, although we will act reasonably in deciding whether a disrupted lesson should be rearranged.
8. Conduct and safeguarding
Parents, carers and learners must communicate respectfully and must not misuse lesson links, recordings, materials or contact details. Safeguarding concerns will be handled in line with our Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy. We may pause or end tuition where this is reasonably necessary to protect a child, the teacher or others.
9. Learning materials and intellectual property
Lesson resources supplied by My Future Education are for the learner's personal educational use unless stated otherwise. They must not be commercially reproduced, sold or publicly distributed without permission. Third-party materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners.
10. Website use
You may use the website for lawful personal purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with its security, impersonate another person, scrape personal information, or use the website in a way that infringes another person's rights.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, My Future Education is not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
12. Complaints
Please see our Complaints Procedure. We aim to resolve concerns fairly and directly.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights they have under applicable law.
